I’m not sure there is a single person who is sad to see 2017 go. It was a shit show. I haven’t been able to read hardly anything the past month–so I apologize that I haven’t been around much. I do have some posts scheduled for January, so we’ll get back on track soon.
I did want to do a quick wrap up of this past year. First, my Goodreads numbers. My goal there was 200, so I shot that out of the water. I had set that number “low” as I had wanted to focus more on content than numbers.

Goals for 2018:
It’s hard to write goals when in a depression, but the main thing is just to continue the trend of content over quantity. I haven’t signed up for any challenges yet, and probably won’t, unless there is going to be a #DiversityBingo2018–and I haven’t been able to find where someone has created a graphic for it. I think I’d rather just continue with my own TBR, and pay attention to what I am reading on my own. It causes me too much anxiety to try and keep up with everyone else otherwise. I’ll probably keep my Goodreads goal at 200 again, so I’m not focused on that. These are not impressive, but they are realistic, and that is what I need after this exhausting year.
